STEPHANIE ALLWRIGHT

DIRECTOR AND SENIOR SOLICITOR

Since establishing Allwright Bourke in 2014, Steph has worked tirelessly to build the business and its team of hard-working, competent legal professionals. She now works mostly behind-the-scenes, ensuring the firm is offering the highest quality legal service to every client.

Steph prides herself on being a jack of all trades. Since her admission as a solicitor, she has practiced in most areas of law, including family, probate and estate planning.

Steph’s passion is all things agricultural. Having previously worked throughout much of NSW, Steph returned to the Central West, where she was born and bred. Having grown up on a country property, Steph has continued the farming tradition, now operating a mixed farming and grazing operation.

Steph is also an avid activist for rural NSW. She is currently the vice president of the Central West Law Society (CWLS) after serving as president for several years.

JESSICA BOURKE

Jess is a local girl who joined Allwright Bourke in 2016 & has been an integral part of what Allwright Bourke is today. Jess formally becomes a Director with Steph in July 2022.

Jess completed a double degree in Criminology and Law in 2015 whilst also working full time in local law firms. Jess was admitted as a Solicitor in 2016.  Jess is a qualified Independent Children’s Lawyer and is due to complete her Masters in Applied Family Law in August 2022, achieving Distinction level marks throughout. 

Jess prides herself on giving advice and pathways that are cost effective and realistic. Jess aims to resolve matters without Court interventions as much as possible. 

Whilst Jess enjoys resolutions-based practice, she is also a talented Court room advocate who is confident, articulate and well prepared in Court. Jess will argue for her clients and truly cares about each client’s outcome.

Jess is passionate about giving back to her community and her peers. She has acted as the Central West Law Society Young Lawyers Representative and as the Central West Law Society vice president.

MUKUND SHARMA

SENIOR SOLICITOR

Mukund Sharma is a Senior Solicitor at Allwright Bourke, with over two decades of experience in diverse legal fields, both in India and Australia. His expertise encompasses commercial and property law, debt recovery, conveyancing, and drafting complex agreements. Before joining Allwright Bourke, Mukund was a Principal Solicitor at Jurisperitus, a firm we acquired in 2023, where he managed intricate legal matters across various sectors.

In addition to his legal career, Mukund has a passion for photography and enjoys capturing moments in his free time.

JOHN MURPHY

SOLICITOR

John graduated from Bathurst’s Charles Sturt University with degrees in law and arts, as well as a Masters in Information Management.

Throughout his studies, John specialised in rural issues, with a focus on water and property.

He has previously worked in local government throughout the Central West, before bringing his vast experience and knowledge to Allwright Bourke.

John now works across most practice areas including conveyancing, leasing, land and property disputes, family and contract law.

MADDISON BLOCKLEY-IRELAND

GRADUATE SOLICITOR

Local girl Maddison joined Allwright Bourke in 2021 and is currently working as a Solicitor. Maddison attended Parkes High School, where she was a familiar face for performance. 

In mid-2022, Maddison completed a Bachelor of Laws and she was admitted as a Lawyer in December 2022. 

Maddison is working in all areas of law and shows a keen interest in Family law and alternative dispute resolution. She is currently undertaking her training to become a Collaborative Lawyer, bringing a much-needed service to the Central West.

Maddison is a talented researcher, has a broad knowledge of legal principles and has a commonsense approach to law. 

NICOLE AUSTIN

SENIOR PARALEGAL & DIRECTORS ASSISTANT

Nicole commenced her legal career in 2010 as a Receptionist and now has become a ‘jack of all trades’.

Nicole is our longest standing AB staff member and currently works as our Accounts Manager, Senior Paralegal, Support Staff Supervisor and Assistant to the Directors.

Outside work, Nicole enjoys living out in the country enjoying the peace and quiet and spending time with her family.

EMMA WEST

PARALEGAL

Emma has worked in the profession for many years, and in the Forbes area since 2014, working predominantly on Wills and Estate matters, and Family Provision claims. 

Emma has always lived on the land and is a dedicated Active Farmers attendee, as well as an accredited teacher for competitive swimming. 

 

KRYSTAL SMITH

LEGAL SECRETARY

Krystal is a dedicated Legal Secretary at Allwright Bourke’s Forbes office, where she specialises in Wills & Estates, Rural Conveyancing, and Commercial matters. Born and raised in Sydney, she relocated to the local area in 2010, bringing with her a wealth of experience in administration, security, and military service. At the age of 20, she joined the Army as a Military Police officer, a role that took her across Australia before she chose to settle in Forbes. 

After leaving the military, Krystal spent several years working in real estate, where she further developed her skills and connections within the community. Now, she combines her diverse background with a passion for legal work, helping clients navigate their legal needs with efficiency and care. 

Outside the office, Krystal enjoys life on her small farm just outside of town, where she raises horses and livestock. She appreciates the country lifestyle and values the opportunity it provides to raise children in a wholesome environment. In her spare time, she enjoys working on the farm, going to the gym, reading, and engaging in hands-on projects.

MADELEINE CHANDLER

LEGAL SECRETARY

Maddie is a dedicated Legal Secretary at Allwright Bourke, operating out of our Forbes office. Her career background is in marketing and customer service, providing a unique skill set to her current role. Since joining the firm, Maddie has developed a strong interest in Wills and Estates.

Outside of work, Maddie pursues her creative interest in pottery and is currently in the midst of crafting her own ceramic dinner set. 

CHYNA WHITTAKER GOODWIN

LEGAL SECRETARY

Chyna is a Legal Secretary based in our Dubbo Office. Originally from Cobar, Chyna explored careers in Administration and Construction before joining our team. Having dabbled in various legal areas, she has discovered her true passion in conveyancing.

In her spare time, Chyna is an aspiring writer. Having been published twice, she dreams of becoming a New York Times bestselling author. Her creativity and ambition fuel her work both in the office and on the page, making her a valuable asset to our team.

TEGAN NOLTE

LEGAL SECRETARY

Tegan is local to the country community of Tumut. She brings her years of local experience to our Tumut office where she is a receptionist and legal secretary. Tegan has completed several courses related to management and business administration, and she has previous experience working for a Bank and an Accountant’s office. 

When she is not working, Tegan enjoys listening to music, reading, and spending quality time with her dogs and horse. 

THOM ANTOSADA

ADMIN ASSISTANT

Thom is an offshore assistant in the Conveyancing space where his tasks revolve around post-settlement. 

Outside of work, Thom enjoys exploring new destinations. He spends his free time searching for the best airfare deals and discovering must-see tourist spots in the countries he plans to visit. 

AMBER TASHIRO

MARKETING ASSISTANT

Amber works as a marketing assistant for Allwright Bourke. She holds a degree in Fine Arts with a major in Painting, and has a rich background as a College Art Instructor and Graphic Designer. Her career has spanned several local and international businesses, where she has honed her skills in visual communication and design. 

Outside of work, Amber indulges in her passion for painting and loves hanging out with her two beloved cats.
